M-DC CAHS - COCONUT GROVE COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER - EMERGENCY FOOD AND SHELTER

Description:

Provides assistance to those experiencing a one-time crisis situation which interrupts their ability to pay utility bills, rent, secure necessary food. Publix vouchers are provided as well as a commodity bag including dry foods (i.e. rice, beans, etc.) upon availability.


NOTE: Services are provided based on funding.
Must have a 3 day eviction order issued by the court.

Intake Process:

Rent Payment Assistance:
Must have a 3 day eviction order issued by the court.

Food Vouchers:
Must bring a picture ID, proof of income, and proof of emergency assistance

Food bag:
None, walk in basis Client can receive food once a month.
