NMB PARKS AND R.E.C. - HIGHLAND VILLAGE

Description:

C.A.R.E. (Community Center After School Recreation Experience) provides a full service after school program that includes homework time, arts and crafts, bi-monthly special events and field trips. Intramural sports and summer camp are also available.

Summer Camp Dates:
June 8, 2026 - July 31, 2026
Registration not currently open.

Each camper will participate in a variety of supervised activities including arts & crafts, music, swimming, sports, games, weekly field trips and special events. Lunch and snacks will be provided through the Miami Dade County Summer Meals program; but campers can bring their own lunches and drinks, preferably in a lunch box. Lunches will not be refrigerated.

After school program registration is now open during the following dates:

Not for non-residents- open

9:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri

Before Care: 8:00am-9:00am
After Care: 2:00pm-6:00pm

After School:
2:00pm-6:00pm, Mon-Fri

Intake Process:

Register at Parks and REC Administrative Offices: 17051 NE 19th Avenue and at all Community Centers.

Call the Parks & Recreation Administrative Office for registration information.

Proof of residency must be presented and in the form of one of the following:
Current electric or telephone bill with parent's name and address
A deed/title to property with resident's or property owners name and address

Summer Camp:
One-time registration fee: $40
Weekly fee: $65
One-time field trip fee: $30

After School:
NMB Residents: Free

Non NMB Residents:
Weekly fee: $30
Registration fee: $40
