Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired proudly presents K-12 Camp Miami Lighthouse, a six-week inclusive summer program for students who are blind or visually impaired and their sighted peers across Miami-Dade County. K-12 Camp runs from June 15 to July 24, 2026, offering door-to-door roundtrip transportation from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with core camp activities scheduled from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Our camp is designed to foster social, educational, and developmental growth through fun, evidence-based activities that engage both children and their families. Campers enjoy a wide variety of enriching experiences!ÂÂincluding soccer twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)!ÂÂall within an inclusive environment that supports the unique needs of students with visual impairments. By bringing children of all abilities together, we promote a sense of belonging, confidence, and community. All activities are adapted as needed to ensure full participation and accessibility for every child.

Eligibility:
Visually impaired/blind children K-5th grade residing in Miami-Dade County.
Copies of IEP or Eye Medical records are required for registration.
Must apply and fill out application in person at agency.
