M-DC PARKS - V.I.C.T.O.R. ADAPTED SPORTS PROGRAM

Description:

V.I.C.T.O.R adapted sports program is an outdoor, multi-sport, program that provides disabled veterans with opportunity to engage in various activities taken place at various locations and on various days/times of week with .Activities include archery, boccia, fishing, hand cycling, trap shooting, wheelchair basketball, water skiing, snorkeling, camping, sailing, and water exercise. This program seeks to serve disable veterans who have become disable of spinal cord injury,amputation, head injury, multiple sclerosis, visual impairments, other diseases which may impact endurance or mobility, and those individuals who have been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Participants must call in advance to pre-register and get signed up for schedule of activities. Registration begins in October, 2022.
