Description:
The purpose of the Jump Start Program is to provide social emotional support services to children in pre-school programs located in the South Region of Miami-Dade County. We utilize teaching problem solving techniques within a collaborative relationship between a professional, quality improvement specialist, teachers, and family members.

Hours:
9:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri
Intake Process:
Parents can contact the Early Learning Coalition warm-line, their child!s pre-school program or directly through the University of Miami. Upon submitting the request, a consent form is submitted to parents in order to conduct developmental screenings and observations. After all the information is collected, decision will made if the child is in need of services.

Eligibility:
Participation is completely voluntarily. In order for children to qualify for services, they must attend a QIS(through ELC) Program in the South and are in need of social emotional support services due to developmental or behavior concerns.
