Description:

Guitars Over Guns Organization (GOGO) offers after-school and community-based programs at 29 sites including select Miami-Dade County Public Schools and Miami-Dade public parks in the following neighborhoods: Homestead/Goulds/Perrine, Cutler Bay, Little Havana, Allapattah, North Miami, Miami Gardens.

Artistic fields offered include: guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, vocals, rap, music production, songwriting, poetry, creative writing, spoken word, visual art, photography.

Programs are administered by professional arts mentors who have passed Level II fingerprinting clearance by M-DCPS.

9:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri

Intake Process:

Interested students can contact their school's after-school programming director or email info@guitarsoverguns.org to register for a GOGO program.

Free.

6th-12th grade students in participating schools.
