EDUCATE TOMORROW - MIAMI DADE COLLEGE NORTH SUMMER PROGRAM

Description:

During the summer, participants engage in a college-readiness program or earn opportunities for paid internships and access to mentors to assist them in gainful employment and social-emotional learning. During the full academic year and summer, most college students are also supported through a scholarship program that provides funding for emergency and support purposes. Many of our participants are foster youth or former foster youth, so they earn a monthly stipend (PESS) if they are enrolled in 9 college credits or working for the equivalent amount of time.
