Description:

The Liberty City Optimist Club serves middle and high school students in the Liberty City neighborhood and the surrounding communities in our after school and summer programs. Our program provides youth sports/physical fitness, social emotional learning and academic preparation to improve or enhance their current grades to get them post-secondary education. Youth can expect to find all activities exciting and fun. Programmatic goals will include: increased academic support resulting in possible academic success, improved social emotional learning skills, knowledge of post secondary educational opportunities, and increased fitness endurance.
