Description:

After school Program provides after school, full day and summer camp services to 345 students and their parents (inclusive of 34 CWD) during the school year and 465 students and their parents (inclusive of 34 CWD) in grades K-8th during the summer.

The program offers best-practice curricula and activities including literacy, fitness, homework assistance, computer-assisted learning, social skills/life skills development, project-based learning, service learning, visual and performing arts, music, dance, character education and unique family engagement events.

Summer Camp dates: June 10th, 2024 - July 30th, 2024

No School Days: Provides day camps that are available on teacher planning days, spring break and winter break for K-5th grade students.

        General Information

        Hours:

        After School:
        2:30pm-6:30pm, Mon-Fri

        Summer Camp:
        7:30am-5:30pm, Mon-Fri

        Intake Process:

        Centers will start accepting summer applications April 1, 2023.

        The parent must fill out an application and register child(ren) and must know their child's student ID number.

        Summer Reading Explorers:
        Parents must fill out Parental Consent Form to release educational records (non-medical) for Summer Reading Explorers Program participants. This is used to evaluate the child for eligibility purposes only.

        Note: if child has any disabilities, parent must bring in proof of their child's disability.

        Program Fees:

        After School:
        One time registration fee: none (subjected to sliding scale fee)

        Summer Camp:
        One time registration fee: $75 (subjected to sliding scale fee)

        English, Spanish, Creole

        Eligibility:

        Elementary school children 5-11 years old (K-5th grades) with or without disabilities.

        Summer Reading Explorers:
        Children in Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade
