M-DC PARKS - KENDALE LAKES PARK

Description:

This Out-of-School Program provides after-school, sports development, winter camp, spring camp, and summer camp. The program offers physical fitness activities, sports, homework assistance, cultural arts, social skills development, community safety, health education, supervised free play, family events, and field trips.



Summer Camp:
Activities provided include: Fit2Play activities, field trips, swimming lessons, recreation swimming, indoor & outdoor games, arts & crafts, special event and a summer bash. Lunch and snack are provided.

Summer Dates:
June 10th - August 2nd, 2024

No School Days: Provides day camps that are available on teacher planning days, spring break and winter break.

Hours:

After School:
2:00pm-6:00pm, Mon-Fri

Summer Camp:
9:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri

Before care: 8:00am-9:00am
After care: 5:00pm-6:00pm

Intake Process:

Parents can register their child for most of the summer camps online.

Children must wear face mask and bring their own computer equipment.

Families in need of financial assistance must register and apply for assistance in person at their selected park.

Program Fees:

After School: $45 weekly
Registration fee is $15

Summer Camp:
Registration fee: $15
$90per week

Sibling discounts of 10%
Financial assistance available.
