Description:

The Regis House STEAM Summer Camp at Olinda Park provides a fun, engaging, and educational experience for children ages 5 to 13. The program focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) through hands-on learning, creative projects, and outdoor play.

Campers enjoy weekly field trips, structured academic enrichment, and recreational activities in a safe and supportive environment. Daily lunch and snacks are provided at no additional cost, and all field trip fees are included with registration.

    General Information

    Hours:

    9:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri

    Intake Process:

    Registration is required and must be completed in advance. Families can apply online, in person at Regis House Headquarters.
    (1250 NW 7th Street, Suite 209, Miami, FL 33125) prior to the camp start date of June 9th, by scanning the QR code on camp flyers, by calling (786) 642-7600 and leaving a voicemail, or by emailing summercamp@regishouse.org.
    Proof of age is required at the time of registration. Enrollment is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Program Fees:

    $50 Registration Fee
    $65 a Week
    Meals and Field Trips Included
    Financial Assistance and limited Scholarships for those that qualify with proof of income.

    English, Spanish

    Eligibility:

    Children between the ages of 5 and 13 who reside in Miami-Dade County are eligible to participate.
    The program is open to all youth regardless of academic performance or household income.
    No documentation beyond proof of age is required for enrollment.

    Regis House welcomes in-kind donations and support to enhance the summer camp experience. Our current wish list includes:

    Healthy individually packaged snacks
    Art supplies (markers, paints, brushes, construction paper)
    STEAM kits or educational toys
    Sports equipment (balls, jump ropes, cones)
    Reusable water bottles
    Sunscreen and insect repellent
    Backpacks or tote bags
    Gift cards (e.g., Target, Walmart, Michaels) for field trip and supply needs
    Transportation assistance (e.g., access to vans or bus rentals)
    Help covering the cost of field trip admissions or activities

    Volunteer Opportunities:

    Regis House welcomes volunteers who are passionate about youth development and STEAM education. Volunteers play a vital role in supporting our summer camp programming and creating a fun, safe, and enriching environment for campers.

    Opportunities include:

    Assisting with STEAM activities and hands-on projects
    Chaperoning field trips
    Supervising recreational play and arts & crafts
    Providing administrative support during sign-in/sign-out
    Supporting meal/snack distribution
    Sharing special skills (e.g., music, robotics, dance, storytelling)

    All volunteers must complete a brief orientation and background screening prior to participation.
