Description:

Provides up to $150,000, based on need, toward repairs necessary to bring a qualifying home in the City of Miami to a decent, safe and sanitary condition. The following are the eligible trade areas: plumbing, electrical, roofing & structural. This program does not finance additions that require a change to the Certificate of Occupancy.

Intake Process:

Once eligibility is confirmed, request an application att SFRPapplication@miami.gov or by calling 305.416.2080, then complete application and send via US Mail to the address indicated in the application. If you are determined pre-eligible, you will receive a letter (within a week of applying) from the City confirming application receipt and assigning a waitlist number.

Eligibility:

Applicant household must be in the City of Miami (property folio must start with 01), have a homestead exemption on the property, and be 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) or below, based on household size. Assessed property value must be no more than $636,806. Applicant(s) must reside in unit at all times.
