United Way EDEN Place, powered by OYC Miami, is a family resource center dedicated to equipping adults, parents, and caregivers with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to promote family stability, resilience, and self-sufficiency. All services are provided at no cost and are designed to help families successfully navigate the systems that impact their lives and the lives of their children.

Services Provided:
Parent Empowerment & Education
Monthly parent workshops and meetings focused on:
Positive parenting
Health and wellness Financial literacy
Academic success strategies One-on-one coaching to help parents navigate challenges and build strong family foundations
School advocacy and academic support to ensure children receive needed resources
Evidence-based parenting programs (e.g., Nurturing Parenting Program) for parents and caregivers of children ages 2!€“17, offering practical tools to support children across developmental milestones
Family & Child Well-Being
Family coaching and parenting strategies to promote healthy relationships and effective communication
Child behavior support and social skills training
Information and referrals connecting families to essential community resources
