Description:
The Arc's Summer program offers 170 children with disabilities, a 9 week summer camp in Kendall and Florida City. Appropriate child development activities across all areas of development will include early literacy, social skills, fitness, arts/crafts and field trips. Following the High Scope Early Childhood Education Curriculum and the Peace works Social Skills Curriculum, The Arc's children play and learn together throughout the summer. Family members also benefit from The Arc's family centered summer program that meets and supports their individual needs.
