THE ARC OF SOUTH FLORIDA - EARLY CHILDHOOD SUMMER CAMP - FLORIDA CITY

Description:

The Arc's Summer program offers 170 children with disabilities, a 9 week summer camp in Florida City and Kendall. Inclusive services will be possible through subsidized children, and siblings within the same age group who enroll as role models. Appropriate child development activities across all areas of development will include early literacy, social skills, fitness, art/craft, summer theme activities and field trips. Following the High Scope Early Childhood Education Curriculum and the Peace works Social Skills Curriculum, The Arc's children play and learn together throughout the summer. Family members also benefit from The Arc's family centered summer program that meets and supports their individual needs.
