Description:

The purpose of the Adult General Education program is to provide basic literacy and life skills to adults who are performing at or below the ninth grade level. All students entering this program are required to take a basic skills exam for placement purposes. The program is designed for students who need to improve their skills in reading, writing, and/or mathematics. Once the ninth grade level is obtained students can prepare for the following: to take the General Education Development (GED) class to obtain a high school diploma, to enter a particular career/technical program or to continue their education.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

This is not a GED class, incoming students will be assessed to determine what level they are at and will then be allowed to continue with high school courses or advised to enroll in GED classes.
