Description:

Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. (LSGM) provides free legal advice, referral, and representation in the areas of public and subsidized housing, homeownership issues (including mortgage foreclosure), public benefits (food stamps, cash assistance, Medicaid and Social Security disability), reemployment assistance, federal income tax, special education issues, and community economic development. Special projects to help the homeless, children, and people with AIDS. Community Legal Education and "pro se" clinics.

Does not provide assistance in criminal, divorce, or custody issues. Operator can refer to another South Florida Legal Provider who may be able to help.

9:00am-12:00pm, Mon, Wed

1:30pm-4:30pm, Mon-Thur

Intake Process:

Clients can apply online at www.legalservicesmiami.org and click Get Help on the top right of the page.

Clients can also apply for services on the phone or in person, please visit or call location at the hours provided.

Program Fees:

All services are free to eligible clients.

Based on an annual income at or below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines.

Languages:

English, Spanish, Creole with translators as needed

Clients who are not U.S. citizens must bring proof of their immigration status to determine eligibility.
