Description:
Casa Valentina is a program that provides safe and affordable housing, support services, and life-skills training to young adults who have aged out of the foster care system.
General Information
Hours:
9:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri
Intake Process:
Potential residents must meet with the Program Director or other staff for a face to face interview (biopsychosocial assessment).
A potential resident may tour the apartments and meet staff before the interview to learn more about the program.
Program Fees:
Shared apartment: $400
Emmaus Place (young men's program): $400
Languages:
English, Spanish
Eligibility:
Young men and women between 18-23 years old, enrolled in an academic program (HS, GED, Vocational training, college) AND/OR working (with the intention of enrolling in school), ability to pay monthly housing fee, not pregnant, and not engaged in any illegal activity.
