Early Beginnings Academy (EBA) is a Miami-Dade County Public Schools charter school serving students in Pre-K through 5th grade who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP). Located in the heart of Miami's Civic Center health district, EBA provides a specialized educational environment that combines high-quality academics with educationally relevant therapeutic supports designed to meet each student's unique needs.

EBA serves students from communities throughout Miami-Dade County and is dedicated to fostering academic growth, independence, and meaningful participation in school and community life. Hours:

8:30am-2:45pm, Mon-Fri

After school:
2:45pm-5:30pm, Mon- Fri

Intake Process:

Step 1: Contact the school by phone, email, website inquiry, or referral from a community partner.

Step 2: Speak with an admissions representative to discuss your child's needs and determine whether Early Beginnings Academy may be an appropriate placement.

Step 3: Submit required documentation, including your child's current IEP, educational records, and any additional records requested by the admissions team.

Step 4: Schedule a campus tour and meet with school staff to learn more about the program and services available.

Step 5: Complete enrollment paperwork and any remaining admissions requirements.

Step 6: Once eligibility is confirmed and enrollment is finalized, your child may begin services based on program availability.

Families are encouraged to contact the school at any time with questions about eligibility, enrollment, or available services.

Free with Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) or Individual Education Plan (IEP)

* Children 3 months to 5th grade with an IFSP or IEP
* Children 3 months to 5 years old with ELC
