Description:
The mission of Armour Dance Theatre is to create a pathway to educational and professional opportunities, for the youth of Miami-Dade County, through the study and performance of dance.
Classes run for the school year from August into June. The summer program will run for 8 weeks (they are not day-long camps).
The after school portion provides dance, literacy, homework assistance, and snacks.
The foundation of the program is ballet based. Ballet clothing, ballet and tap shoes will be provided free of charge to each student if they qualify for a scholarship. A commitment fee is charged at the beginning of each session.
