Description:

EOC is a federally funded educational program designed to afford the opportunity of a college education to families without a legacy of higher education.

Services provided:

College pre-admission counseling.
Academic advice.
Career counseling and workshops.
Information on postsecondary education opportunities and student financial assistance.
Help in completing applications for college admissions, testing, and financial aid.
Guidance on secondary school re-entry or entry to a GED program.
Media activities designed to involve and acquaint the community with higher education opportunities.
Education or counseling services designed to improve the financial and economic literacy of students.

        Intake Process:

        Documents to bring:

        Your (and your spouse's, if you are married) previous years Federal Income Tax Return, W2 Form and Social Security Number.

        Your parents previous years Federal Income Tax Return (if you are a dependent student, i.e. less than 24 years old, unmarried, or do not have children.)

        Your Permanent Resident Card (if you are not a U.S. citizen); or an I-94 from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) showing immigrant status.

        Your Driver License or a State Photo ID.

        High School Diploma or an equivalent as GED.

        Low income Miami Dade residents first generations or any students with disabilities over 19 years old who have legal immigration status
