Description:

The YWCA of Greater Miami-Dade, Inc. provides Early Childcare (zero to five years old) Head Start, Early Head Start, School Readiness, Private, VPK in the areas of Downtown, Overtown and Miami Gardens, after school and full day programming, including summer, winter, and spring break camps for youth from various areas including South Dade, Brownsville, Opa Locka, Carol City, Overtown, Allapattah, Hialeah, and Miami Gardens. Program activities include arts & crafts, nutrition, family services, mental health, assessments, screenings, sports, social skills, field trips, and cultural arts. The program is designed to build nutritional, social-emotional, health and academic skills.
