Described videos and DVDs are movies which have been adapted for the enjoyment of individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Throughout each video or DVD, a narrator carefully describes the visual elements of the movie including the action, characters, locations, costumes and sets without interfering with dialogue or sound effects. The videos/DVDs operate on most standard videocassette and DVD players with a regular television set.
