Description:
VITA is a FREE tax filing service available to individuals and families making under $66,000 a year. VITA is a national program staffed by local IRS certified volunteers to provide free, confidential and secure preparation and e-filing of tax returns to qualified taxpayers. United Way can help you at any of our 20 site locations throughout Lee, Hendry, Glades, and Charlotte Counties, as well as Immokalee.

Must present:
* 2023 federal income tax return
* Social Security cards or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)
* Photo IDs (Please note, if married filing jointly, both spouses must be present.)
* W-2 forms for all jobs worked in 2025. (Form W-2, W-2G, 1099-R, 1099-MISC)
* Health Insurance Marketplace Coverage Form 1095-A, if applicable.
* A voided check and/or savings account number for direct deposit (encouraged)
