Description:

Le Jardin Community Center, Inc. operates a Head Start center at this location.

Provides comprehensive early childhood educational opportunities to children. In addition to early childhood education, children are linked to medical, dental, and vision resources while also receiving nutritious meals and snacks. Also, provides comprehensive case management to families with crisis assistance, linkages to community resources and training on topics of interest including child development, financial literacy, and employ-ability skills.

Hours:

7:30am-4:00pm, Mon-Fri

Intake Process:

Parents can visit the center to call to enroll their child. Proof of income, proof of their child's age (birth certificate) and proof of residency are all required.

English, Spanish, French, Creole

Eligibility:

Children who are selected must be between 3-5 years old, with proof of age.

Children with disabilities must go through a special Covid-19 training with their therapist and must fill out forms.

Parents must also submit documented proof of income, and proof of residency.

Homeless families, families receiving temporary cash assistance, and those families whose children have special needs are strongly encouraged to apply.
