FOSTER CARE REVIEW - CITIZENS REVIEW PANEL

Description:

Volunteers, recruited and trained by the agency, conduct reviews, mandated by state and federal statutes, of children in foster care with the goal to stabilize placements, reduce length of child's stay in care, ensure appropriate services and advocate for children. These reviews are conducted in partnership with judges at Juvenile Court.

You can help by volunteering to serve on a citizen review panel:
* No special educational or professional background is needed but a High School diploma is needed.
* Extensive training is provided.
* You must be at least 25 years of age.
* A background screening is required.
* Commitment is one week day a month.
