Description:
Provide two hour educational workshops in the community for families who have children with disabilities. Topics include Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act, Homework Strategies, Inclusion, Transition from Early Steps to Pre-K, Understanding Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Individual Education Plans, Overview of Special Education Programs, Families as Advocates, Parenting Children with Special Needs.
Workshop being held in-person and virtually.
