Description:
Camp Erin is a free non-denominational weekend bereavement camp for children and teens who are grieving the death of a significant person in their lives. Camp Erin is typically held twice a year.
Camp Erin is facilitated by Catholic Hospice grief professionals and combines grief education and emotional support with fun, traditional camp activities. Activities include art, music therapy, "Ask the Doctor," team building, pet therapy, process groups and remembrance ceremonies.
Registration for program is open year-round and open to South Florida families and beyond. Check out the upcoming camp dates and download an application online: www.camperinsouthflorida.org.
Volunteer opportunities are also available. Volunteer training with background and drug screenings mandatory. Contact for more information.
