Description:
Amigos For Kids - Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) is a community-based, culturally and linguistically appropriate program for parents/caregivers designed to prevent the occurrence or recurrence of child abuse or neglect. Goals of parenting are to strengthen families by providing relevant, effective education and support to encourage an optimal environment for the healthy growth and development of the family.
All services may be provided in English or Spanish based on enrollment demographics.
Services are provided in locations throughout Miami-Dade County such as schools and community centers.

Groups with 10-12 parents can be scheduled to meet participant availability.

Eligibility:
Parents with children ages 0-12 who reside primarily in Miami-Dade County.
No family is excluded from services and are able to participate regardless of address as long as they can attend the groups at the site where the group is provided.
