ALTERNATIVE PROGRAMS - ALTERNATIVE TO INCARCERATION

Description:

The Alternatives to Incarceration (A.T.I.) project provides services to adult offenders. ATI receives referrals from the police department, the State's Attorney's Office, the DC Department of Corrections, the Pre-Trial Diversion Office and directly from the courts.

The ATI project provides critical support for its clients by providing on-going counseling and referral services aimed at diverting repeat criminal acts, to include:

* job training and placement;
* out-patient drug rehabilitation;
* temporary housing (when available);provided after assessment;
* other core social services

Hours:

8:00am-4:00pm, Mon-Thur;
8:00am-12:00pm, Fri;
Saturday by appointment only.
