Description:
The Spark of Light program is the only national program that serves Jewish people incarcerated in the United States to ensure that they stay connected to their families, communities and Jewish heritage. Spark of Light social programs and services provide for the religious, rehabilitation and humanitarian needs of individuals and their families from the moment of arrest, during the pre-sentencing stage and trial, and throughout their imprisonment. Spark of Light helps inmates amend their wrongs, seek forgiveness and have the best possible opportunity to return to society as purposeful, responsible people.
