Description:
Arts Ballet Goes to School is an educational outreach program for elementary school students in Miami-Dade County, developing student knowledge and an understanding of classical ballet. Arts Ballet visits the local public schools, providing a well-rounded presentation including lectures and performances. The program is structured with lecture (technique demonstrations and repertoire excerpts), performance and student participation. Students are called on stage to learn a few ballet steps.
