SANT LA - EMPLOYMENT PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE

Description:

We assist with employment/job placement by referring clients to employers who may have open positions; provide access to Career Source South Florida Workforce's Access Point system; assist with completing a proper job application to assess their marketable job skills; complete a successful job interview, provide resume assistance; pursue training opportunities, and help clients file Unemployment Compensation claims, including follow-up assistance with claiming their UC weeks or any other UC/AWI issues.

Overview of Services Provided:
Monday and Tuesday starting at 9:00am - Counselors assist clients in finding job opportunities on the computer.
Wednesdays - Counselors assist clients in building their resume.
Thursdays - Counselors provide job orientation to help with interview skills and will follow-up with clients to talk about the outcome of their interviews.

9:00am-6:00pm, Mon-Thur
9:00am-2:00, Fri

Intake Process:

* New clients are accepted on a first come first serve basis Mon-Thur.
* Clients are asked to provide a valid work permit or other USCIS Documentation proving legal work status.
* It is also recommended that clients provide a resume or similar document providing previous work history.
