The Miami-Dade Affordable Housing Foundation Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) corporation established by the Housing Finance Authority of Miami-Dade County in 1999 "to increase the ability of low and moderate income families in attaining home ownership by providing affordable mortgage financing and other related services supporting economic and community development.
The Foundation utilizes creative approaches to offer services in the areas of homebuyer education and counseling, resources for affordable housing, housing services, and special mortgage financing in the form of below-market rate mortgages for low and moderate income families. The Foundation works in partnership with like-minded organizations to foster economic and community development as stabilization of neighborhoods in need of quality housing.
