Description:

Lifeline Program allows a credit on monthly phone bill if customer receives one or more of the following:

Federal Public Housing Assistance / Section 8
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
Medicaid
Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
National School Lunch (free program only)
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
Additional eligibility criteria may apply to residents of federally recognized tribal lands

The purpose is to assist qualified low-income residential phone subscribers. Service is limited to one phone line per household.
