Description:
This program promotes unified sports for typical and special participants. Non-competitive sports for special need population and general population. Players can have fun with their family and friends.
In this program, participants work on fundamental skills of basketball, including dribbling, passing, shooting, and offense/defense concept is introduced. Teamwork is developed, as well as fine and gross motor skills.

Intake Process:
Registration can be completed online at https://bit.ly/YMCAadaptivesports ; in person, or over the phone. Once registered, Director or Assistant Director will reach out to families to schedule and appointment for the SNAP Assessment process. Please call the Pembroke Pines Family Center and ask for the CTRS for any additional questions.
Program Fees:
$40
This fee includes the 6-week participation, a jersey/shirt, medal/trophy, refreshments, equipment, parent (meet & greet)/orientation, and an award ceremony.
