Description:
Job Corps, administered by the U.S. Department of Labor, is a free residential education and training program that helps young people learn a career, earn a high school diploma or GED, and find and keep a good job. For eligible young people between the ages of 16 and 24 years old that qualify as low income, Job Corps provides the all-around skills needed to succeed in a career and in life. Though the program provides residential education and job training it also serves nonresidential students (meaning you do not have to live in the residential centers to be admitted into the program).
