Description:
The primary goal of the Marine Patrol Detail is to ensure the safety of those persons using the waterways of the City of Miami.
The officers assigned to the Detail enforce all federal, state and local maritime regulations and statutes. Conduct inspections of vessels, conducts search and rescue operations, assists with alien and drug smuggling interdiction and provides assistance to all law enforcement agencies and public entities engaged in maritime activities in Miami.
