The Children!€™s Hearing Program at UHealth, The University of Miami Health System, is a unique resource for the more than 12,000 babies born with hearing loss each year in the United States. The family-centered program, part of the UHealth Ear Institute at University of Miami, offers comprehensive services for children with hearing loss and their families.

General Information

Hours:

8:30am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri

Intake Process:

Family must call us to make an appointment.
Must make sure their child is registered with University of Miami medical system first and that we accept the child's insurance.
The number to registration is: 305-243-3564.
After the child is registered and an appointment is made, the family will come to one of our clinics. Our main clinic is in Miami located at the Clinical Research Center. The family will fill out a case history form and will then be seen by the audiologist and/or ears, nose, and throat physician.

Program Fees:

Accepts Medicaid, private insurance and self pay

Languages:

English, Spanish, American Sign Language (limited)

We are able to get in person or on the phone interpreters, as needed for the family.

Children and youth 0-18 years old
