Description:
OIC of South Florida SOAR program is a reentry program that helps young men and women, involved in the criminal justice system, receive certifications and job placement assistance at no cost.
Participants of this program are provided with free services that will help in:
*Assess Career Pathways and Academic
Counseling Requirements
*Attain Industry-Recognized Certifications
*Obtain Long-term Employment
*Receive Community Partner Referrals for Housing, Substance Abuse & Mental Health

Eligibility:
Current or past involvement with the juvenile or adult justice system. Currently unemployed or underemployed. Interested in job training for career advancement. Located in the following service areas: Allapattah, Brownsville, Liberty City, Hialeah, Little River, Little Haiti, Little Havana, Overtown, Opa-Locka, Miami Gardens and North Miami Beach.
*18-24 years of age
*Court or justice-involved
*Must reside in Miami- Dade County
*Eligible to enroll in community college
*Legally eligible to work in the US
