EMPOWERING YOUTH - FAMILY NEIGHBORHOOD SUPPORT PROGRAM (FNSP)

Description:

The Family Neighborhood Support Program provides supportive services to low-income families. These services include case management, counseling for behavioral problems, academic support, and emergency financial assistance for rent, water, and light bill.

NOTE #1: IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE SERVICES MENTIONED, CLIENT MUST BE ENROLLED AT LEAST 2 MONTHS IN THE PROGRAM.

NOTE #2: NO WALK-INS, CLIENT MUST CALL. THEY WILL BE DENIED SERVICE IF THEY GO TO OFFICE WITHOUT CALLING.

Financial assistance is provided as a last resort and client must present proof that they have tried other programs prior to seeking help.

Service Area: Services are available to residents of Miami Gardens and Opa-locka, as well as residents of North Miami who reside in ZIP codes 33162, 33160, and 33181.

Note: Clients are not eligible if they have received a 3-Day Notice or an Eviction Notice.
