Description:
Break Camp offer summer coding, game design and app development classes to students in grade school in North Miami-Dade County through CodeMasters. Breakfast, lunch and snack will be provided.
In addition to exposing youth to STEM and preparing them for technical certification, the program supports youth on their paths to STEM careers by exposing them to and preparing them for success in middle and high school and for various post-secondary education, career, and entrepreneurship opportunities through discussions with guidance counselors, representatives from advanced training programs, college admission personnel, STEM career professionals, visits to colleges, STEM businesses and community STEAM-rich venues.
