Description:
Summer components include, but are not limited to Preparing for Success college readiness training by Miami Dade College in two formats for the youth at differing achievement levels; social-emotional learning; and career skill-building training in digital applications; Supplemented by Arts N' Synergy arts exploration programming. Summer evidence-based activities for at-risk youths who primarily reside in the City of Miami Gardens. Through our collaborative partnership with Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS) Together for Children Initiative, the program works primarily with students at greatest risk of failure, i.e., who exhibit two or more Early Warning Indicators such as attendance below 90%, suspensions, course failure in English Language Arts or Math, and Level 1 on state assessments.
Summer camp: June 10th- August 2nd, 2024

Call the administrative offices before arriving to insure all necessary documents are in hand to complete the intake.
