Description:

Shalom Bayit is a case management program for Domestic Abuse victims. It's goal is to help (take out Jewish, we serve all religions) victims of domestic violence to break the cycle of violence, to become whole again, to get back on their feet, be safe and protect their children. This is done by providing different services such as case management, counseling, food, shelter referrals and legal referrals.

Hours:

9:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri

Hours flexibility is available based on victims needs

Intake Process:

Call the Access line for an intake, or you can call to speak directly with case manager.

There is an evaluation to see if the person belongs to the program or if other services are needed.

Program Fees:

There is no cost for the case management.

Other services, such as counseling, do have a cost.

Languages:

English, Spanish, Hebrew

Eligibility:

Victims of domestic violence who reside in Miami Dade County.

The case manager will do a diagnosis of the case. If in doubt, please refer.
