Description:

Public housing is intended for the most disadvantaged members of the community, i.e., extremely low-income, elderly or disabled residents.

The public housing program is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Miami-Dade Public Housing and Community Development (PHCD) manages almost 9,200 units of public housing in 100 family and elderly developments. PHCD also manages several mixed-income housing developments charging rent to low-income families that can afford to bear some of the costs of housing.


NOTE: application submission process will begin on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 12:00 am (Midnight) and will end on Monday February 19, 2024, at 11:59 pm.

No applications will be accepted before or after this period.
