Description:

Children!€™s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a voluntary day treatment program that provides structured, intensive, and medically supervised treatment for adolescents. The program assists adolescents who are exhibiting significant psychiatric symptoms which are causing severe distress and impairment in areas such as self-care, school functioning, and family or interpersonal relationships. The goal of PHP is to improve functioning, promote life-changing wellness and decrease the need for hospitalization.

Hours:

9:00am-4:00pm, Mon-Fri

Intake Process:

Assessment with Admission Services at the David Lawrence Center, with referral to Children!€™s Mental Health PHP.

Program Fees:

Insurance, self-pay, and sliding scale fees for those that qualify

Languages:

English, Spanish, Creole

Eligibility:

* Children 13-17 years old.
* An initial clinical assessment is required to ensure PHP is the appropriate level of care.
* A parent/caregiver must attend the family therapy sessions with their adolescent.
* Most insurance is accepted. Preauthorization is required.
