Description:
Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired presents K-12 Camp Miami Lighthouse. We offer a 6-week inclusive camp for visually impaired students and their sighted peers. K-12 Camp reaches children throughout Miami-Dade County. We provide roundtrip transportation, from 6AM- 6PM and Camp activities are from 8:30AM- 3:30 PM. The Camp provides fun and engaging activities. Our camp aims to provide children with the foundations that foster social, educational, and developmental well-being by providing evidence-based activities while actively involving parents and the community. This provides students with the opportunity to interact, thus creating a sense of commonality and belonging. All program activities are inclusive, and adaptations are made to meet the needs of individual children with visual impairments.

Door to Door transportation available.

Eligibility:
Visually impaired/blind children K-5th grade residing in Miami-Dade County.
Copies of IEP or Eye Medical records are required for registration.
