Description:
The City of Hialeah's Creative Learning and Play Program offers affordable afterschool care and summer camps for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Afterschool:
This program provides families with affordable, high quality out of school services in a safe, fun and encouraging environment. Activities include fitness, homework assistance, literacy activities, tutoring, recreation, social skills development, special interest classes.
Summer Camp:
Dates: June 10, 2024 - August 9, 2024
Activities include field trips, arts & crafts, swimming, and indoor/outdoor games, small group reading tutoring with certified teachers, enrichment activities, and special events. Camp weekly fee includes all field trips and snack and lunch daily.
Summer registration will begin on April 8, 2024

Intake Process:
Parents must provide: A copy of child/children birth certificate or passport, current photo of child/children, proof of residency (utility bill), current report card and fill-out the registration forms for both TCT and the City of Hialeah.

Non-refundable registration fee: $30
Late Registration Fee (beginning August 17, 2023): $15
Hialeah residents weekly fee: $20
Non-Hialeah residents weekly fee: $40
Late Pick Up (Per family after 6:31 pm): $5
Late Pick Up Extended (Each additional 15 minutes after 6:31 pm): $5
Summer Camp:
Non-refundable registration fee: $20

Hialeah residents weekly fee: $35
Non-Hialeah residents weekly fee: $55
Camp Shirts (must be worn every day): $8

Eligibility:
Students in K - 5th grade with or without a disability.
Must reside within the areas of 33010, 33012, 33013, 33014, 33016, 33018 and surrounding regions.
Children with disabilities may include children with cognitive, physical, and emotional disabilities.
