Description:
Children!s Community Action Team (CAT) is an integrated multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive intensive community-based services to youth and their family. The CAT Program provides individualized treatment based on the unique needs of each youth and family. These culturally competent, strength-based services promote recovery and resilience and provide the support necessary to keep the youth in his/her family, school and in the community.
Program services include but are not limited to: clinical assessment, individual therapy, family therapy, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, nursing services, case management assessment and case management services, mentoring support, crisis intervention and support, case coordination and aftercare planning.
Children, teens, and young adults who are at-risk of out of home placement and experience other issues that impact daily functioning (e.g. family issues, social/emotional difficulties, involvement with law enforcement etc.) may be eligible for the CAT Program. The average length of stay is six to nine months.

A CAT staff member is available daily 24/7 to provide crisis support, outreach and coaching to the youth and family.
Intake Process:
For youth active with David Lawrence Center services, a referral to CAT may be completed by the DLC provider.
For youth not active with David Lawrence Center services, an external referral may be faxed directly to the CAT Team Supervisor.

Insurance, self-pay, and sliding scale fees for those that qualify
