Parent & Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT):
Free for families in Miami-Dade County. Offered in English and Spanish, Virtual and In-Person, 1 hour per week.
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is a proven program that helps strengthen the bond between you and your child through fun and guided interactions. It!s designed to help you develop new skills for communicating with your child, managing behaviors, and fostering a more positive relationship.
PCIT is perfect for parents with children aged 2 to 7 showing challenging behaviors such as:
Trouble following directions
Outbursts of frustration
Fear of social situations
Excessive worry
Easily distracted
Tantrums
Ignoring
Trauma Focused Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT)
Free for families in Miami Dade county, Funded by the Children!s trust. 12-20 sessions, once per week. In-Person Only
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is specifically designed for children (3-8) who have experienced traumatic events.
Children Who Have Experienced:
Sexual abuse
Physical abuse
Domestic violence
Severe neglect
Sexual assault
Witnessing violent events
Traumatic losses
Community violence exposure

Developmental Screenings provided as needed for eligibility determination of interventions, referrals and supports.
